The Little Birth Company Complete Hypnobirthing Programme is everything you need to prepare for a positive birth regardless of where or how you give birth.  It will support you to develop the skills to keep calm and relaxed, to breathe and to 'enjoy' your birth.

As you explore the secrets of hypnobirthing you will begin to see the beauty in the logic behind it, it feels like magic, but trust me, it’s real!

Hypnobirthing is not promising you a 'perfect' birth but with the techniques you learn you will most definitely be stacking the odds in your favour of having the birth you would like. Even if the journey to birth changes you will feel supported and have the tools to remain calm and to have a positive experience!

The tools and techniques learned on the course have huge benefits for parents to be, birth partners and babies alike! The relaxation techniques you learn will support you through labour, birth and into parenthood.

The course is delivered in 10 hrs, usually spread over 3-4 2.5 hour sessions for 1-1 courses and 2 half days for the group course.

For up to date availability please contact me.

Contents of the course -

  • The basic physiology of birth.
  • How to release any fears that may in some way be associated with childbirth, and thus avoid the ‘Fear-Tension-Pain Syndrome’.
  • How to relax deeply and quickly using breathing techniques, visualisations and deep relaxation.
  • How to stay calm, relaxed and in control throughout your labour.
  • How to promote the production of your birthing hormones.
  • How to trust your body to work naturally and in harmony with your baby.
  • How to prepare a birth plan so that you can be better informed and in control of birth.
  • The knowledge and power to navigate birth should you require intervention or assistance.
  • Positions to help you birth your baby more easily and comfortably.
  • Breathing techniques that work with your body to maximise your body’s own natural expulsive reflex, so you may birth your baby more gently, rather than using forced and directed ‘pushing’ which is exhausting and less effective.

At the end of the course I want you to feel excited about the prospect of birthing your baby; calm in the knowledge that giving birth can be the most wonderful experience a woman and her birth partner will experience and looking forward to a gentle, safe, relaxed, comfortable and stress-free birth.

Mindful Breastfeeding Preparation and Support £150

2 x 1.5 hour sessions 1-1 (antenatally) and 1 x 2 hour follow-up (postnatally)

Many parents-to-be assume that because breastfeeding is natural that they will naturally know what to do when our baby arrives.

But like any new experience or skill, successful breastfeeding benefits from preparation, practice and support.

In all the excitement and anticipation of the birth, it can be easy to overlook the necessary preparations for those early days and weeks with a newborn.

The reality is that the process of establishing breastfeeding can be challenging and this can come as a bit of a surprise.

This course aims to equip you with both the knowledge and the confidence to enable you to thrive and not just survive in those early days and weeks of parenthood.

Sound good? Then get in touch!

The course is made up of 2 antenatal sessions, each focusing on a different key area related to your breastfeeding journey (Mind & Body) and 1 postnatal session, to offer in person guidance and follow-up once your baby has arrived.

*NEW* 'Preparing for the 4th Trimester' Workshop £99

2 hour session 1-1 + accompanying workbook

In all the excitement and anticipation of pregnancy and the birth of your baby, it can be easy to overlook the necessary preparations for those early days and weeks with a newborn.

In reality, while your pregnancy may be over once you have your baby in your arms, the process of becoming a parent most certainly is not. The term '4th Trimester' refers to the 3 months after your baby is born, when your newborn is adjusting to life outside the womb and you are adjusting to a new rhythm, new routines and a new sense of self.

This workshop aims to equip you with both the knowledge and the confidence to enable you to make the preparations now that will support you to thrive and not just survive in those early days and weeks of parenthood.

Sound good? Then get in touch!

This workshop is a combination of 1-1 support and an accompanying workbook, to support your research and reflections at a time and pace that suits you. Both designed to guide your preparations for life in those important first 12 weeks postpartum.

During the session together we will consider and discuss:

  • How to support your postnatal recovery
  • Understanding 'normal' newborn behaviours
  • Managing expectations
  • Supporting existing relationships
  • Building supportive relationships
  • Creating a support network
  • Making parenting decisions that are right for you
  • Postnatal nutrition

"We hear a lot about the three trimesters of pregnancy. But many women (and even some medical professionals) know little about a newly described and critical time period in women's lives that desperately needs our attention: The Fourth Trimester."
